Senior Business Development Manager at Geosense
We seek a dynamic individual to develop and secure new business for Geosense while maintaining key client relationships and maximizing profitable turnover for future work.

Responsibilities
- Identifying & developing new customer relationships
- Identify and secure award for major projects and opportunities
- Formulating regional/territorial commercial plans
- Nurturing existing relationships to maximise spend
- Converting leads/new customers into profitable sales
- Positively representing the company
- Following the delivery of new customer orders/projects
- Positioning Geosense as a key partner for major projects around the world
- Providing clear and concise data on leads and projects
- Liaising with customers and provide key updates to the Managing Director
- Identifying possible threats and make Managing Director aware and work together to achieve a suitable outcome (ideally be proactive and suggest course of action)
- Ensuring accurate information is gathered and inputted to the system for the benefit of the Sales Pipeline.
- Analysing statistics or other data to determine the level of sales and customer service you are providing.
- Maintaining and sharing professional and technical knowledge and keeping up to date with new and available technologies.
Any other duties which might reasonably be requested in association with this role in order to meet the needs of the business

Geosense produces high quality, state of the art sensors for civil, infrastructure, mining, and environmental sectors. These products, sold to over 100 countries, are used on some of the world's most prestigious construction projects and help engineers understand how their structures are behaving.
A company of over 60 incredible individuals, Geosense is based in purpose-designed modern premises near Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk. This role is UK based, and full-time hours are typically 9am-5.30pm (with a flexible working policy in place). The role is offered as both a fully remote or hybrid role with on average 3 days a week in the office.
